Blocks provide you with everything you need to build a larger page. They contain a variety of content elements, such as images, buttons, headings, and more. These elements are arranged in rows and columns, which provide a useful structure, as well as a sense of balance within the overall composition. You can modify this structure using our intuitive drag and drop interface, which allows you to rearrange content to your heart’s content.

In addition, certain elements will be centered on mobile devices and tablets and aligned to the left or right on a desktop display. You can adjust the layout for each Block at three different device widths – desktop, tablet, and mobile.

“A blockquote highlights important information, which may or may not be an actual quote. It uses distinct styling to set it apart from other content on the page.”

Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes, it’s good to book a few days in advance to avoid disappointment. Weekends tend to be booked up a couple in advance. We like to take our time with your experience to ensure you have the best time with us and care possible.

Do you use a piercing gun?

Not at all no. For many different reasons all beneficial to you guys.

Why we won’t use a gun

How old do I have to be?

16+ with photo I.D. for most piercings (21+ for genitals and 18+nipples)
14+ with a parent or legal guardian present for lobe and basic cartilage piercings. (Other cartilage piercings done at piercers discretion)

We offer a wide variety of piercing services to minors. The policies we’ve established are to protect minors, their parents and our studio. In order to receive a piercing, a minor must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. In addition, you must bring a copy of the minor’s passport or citizenship card.

If you are the parent of a minor, but you and the minor have different last names, we need documentation showing why your names are different (ie. divorce, name change, etc.) or some other legal documentation demonstrating guardianship.

Where are you?

We are here! Near Monument metro, between the two large Boots stores and opposite Wagamamas.

I have a needle phobia but I really want my [insert here] pierced!

We are experienced (and used to!) nervous clients. We deal with each client on an individual basis. Never at any time will you be shown the needle. We recommend that ALL clients close their eyes, not just the scared ones! You are welcome to pop in to discuss the procedure beforehand. Even we don’t like watching when we’re in the chair.

Can I have my [insert here] pierced with a ring?

Cartilage, nostril, lip and nipple piercings heal much better when they are pierced with a straight bar to begin with. Rings can encourage scarring and in some cases they can cause the piercing to migrate. At the end of the day, it’s your body; so after taking our recommendations and experience into account, you still want a ring then its something we can discuss.
The quick healing nature of ear lobes means they heal fine with suitable rings.

Can I come in for a consultation?

Yes of course! You are always welcome to come in and meet us, see the studio, ask questions and discuss your ideas. There may be a short wait, but we are always happy to take the time to speak to you.

Will my [insert here] hurt?

They all hurt a bit! If it was unbearable, nobody would have more than one! We can advise on how painful your choice of placement is likely to be. Some areas of the body are more painful than others, but please bear in mind that everybody’s pain threshold is different. An experienced piercer will always keep any discomfort to a minimum.

I’m pregnant/breastfeeding, will you pierce me?

It is advisable to refrain from undergoing any body art procedures during a pregnancy, even just an ear lobe stretch. It is best to let your body focus on the important, complex and demanding task that it is handling already.
It is advisable to wait three months following the cessation of breast milk production before piercing of the nipples.

Can I still breastfeed after I’ve had my nipples pierced?

We have no awareness of even a single case of a woman who wished to breast feed and could not as a result of having had a nipple piercing. The milk ducts are a multiplicity of little pore-like ducts. Therefore, the likelihood of closing them all off from a piercing of usual size is virtually nil.
Most women do remove their jewellery for breast feeding and we believe this to be appropriate. As a result, some milk may come from the site of the piercing during nursing, which is not harmful nor problematic.
There is no special care that is required during pregnancy for healed piercings.

Can I bring my child/ren to the store with me?

Unfortunately our stone stairwell is not safe or suitable to bring pushchairs down. Also our duty of care is to you, not your children. We ask that you consider the circumstances when bringing any minors with you.

What jewellery do you use for the piercings?

We only pierce with implant grade titanium which conforms to standards Titanium (Ti6Al4V ELI) that is ASTM F136 compliant or ISO 5832-3 compliant.
There is virtually no allergy rate with Titanium. It is the same material as hospital equipment/bone pins etc.

Can I bring my own jewellery in to be pierced with?

We don’t pierce with customers own jewellery as we cannot verify the origins. There is potential for you to develop an allergy or an infection if the jewellery is of inferior quality.

Do I need to do anything before I get pierced?

Please see our before being pierced page

How long until i can change my jewellery?

Simply put: when it’s ready. We all heal at different rates. That’s why we advise a follow up appointment. Your piercer can evaluate your progress and inform you when things look good enough to swap around and even help with the process.

I need an MRI/Surgery, do I need to remove my piercing?

Metal body jewellery will result in an opaque density on MRI and x-ray, but will not otherwise affect visibility on film.
Metal body jewellery causes visible interference and should be removed for CAT scans if in the area of examination.
Nipple piercings are unlikely to obstruct visibility of pathology on thoracic x-rays if both AP or PA lateral views are taken.
Appropriate (Titanium/Steel) body jewellery is non-magnetic and as such does not need to be removed for MRI procedures unless it is located in the region being examined (use a strong hand-magnet to test)
Don’t forget that even momentary removal of jewellery from a piercing can result in amazingly rapid closure of the channel, and make reinsertion difficult or impossible.
Non-metallic retainers can often be used to keep your piercing for a procedure. We have retainers available in the studio.

I have a medical condition, can I still be pierced?

In almost all cases, yes. However there are a few exceptions to this rule. So for your safety, if you are in doubt: ask your G.P for a doctors note. This will outline your health status in relation to a piercing and help us give you the correct after-care.

If you have a rash, burn, broken skin, or sunburn in the area that will be pierced, you must wait until the skin has healed before you can receive the piercing. It is possible to pierce through scar tissue (to re-pierce an area where you used to have a piercing, for example), but the scar must be completely healed

I have breast implants, can I still get my nipples pierced?

This decision is yours to make after receiving advice from your surgeon. Generally once you have received all your follow up appointments there will be no issues. However some surgeons recommend waiting longer.
